Buddy, Stubbs, and Stevie, Austin 1990

Chicago Blues Legend Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan were playing at the Rites of Spring concert in 1990, and this shots was taken backstage with C.B. Stubblefield, the man behind Stubbs BBQ and his club in Lubbock. He hosted many great Texas musicians there including SRV, Joe Ely, Jesse Taylor, and David Holt, and he feed them, too. He passed many years ago but there is still a Stubbs music venue and restaurant in downtown Austin, and a line of sauces with his face and name on the label at your local grocery store. I was lucky to have my Leica in the right place at the right time to get this shot.
