This iconic shot of Tom Petty and Bob Dylan was captured in San Diego on the first concert of the USA tour, during the first encore of the night, "Like A Rolling Stone." I am sure that this is Tom's favorite photo of him and Bob. First he included it his Playback boxset in 1995, then both of his books; Conversations With and Running Down A Dream, it has also been published in Rolling Stone Magazine 3 times.
